Why What Stories


In our weekly talks, I have helped a friend remove some of her programmed beliefs with Tapping*, and replace them with a new, unencumbered look at reality which then leads to new behavior. She can attest to the changes.

It is my understanding that THE PROGRAMMING we all so ominously talk about is an intricate web of beliefs a.k.a. belief system that’s been formed through both education and empirically within the environment we grew up in.

It is being held in place and reinforced by repetition and fear. It is always limiting because it removes personal responsibility and choice.

The only time we may begin to question it is when discomfort or pain arise.

We may then either drown or start asking questions. Not too many these days are curious and brave enough to want to challenge their view of reality. They rather cry victim and look for a perpetrator…

If we do summon the courage to examine which beliefs support a certain behavior, then question its validity and usefulness, it is easy to undo the belief.

If however, it is not replaced with a new internal frame of reference that can be relied on, the old behavior wil come back running to fill the void.

(Human) Nature abhors a vacuum.

The good news is that once the old belief has no more feet to stand because it’s been debunked as a lie, a whole new world of new possibilities opens up almost by magic, and we have choice.

EFT (Tapping*) is the tool to help move from PASSIVE BELIEF to ACTIVE CHOICE. It’s the path of response-able living.
